Welcome to the Official Itswar Game Guide. Itswar is a real-time, turn-based, team strategy game. This site is aimed at helping you get more acquainted with the game and some of its basics. Through the various sections listed at the right, you should be able to pick up most of the important elements of the game. One of the most important things about Itswar is the cooperation within each team, and therefore it is vital that you seek out your team-mates, preferably on the IRC channel devoted to each team. Below you will see a description of what each page in this guide contains! Comms- This section describes how to communicate with your teammates in-game and in chat! Teams- Explains the basics of the team elements of the game, and the buildings involved. Upgrade Points- Describes the games system of Upgrade Points (UPS) and how to get them. There you can learn how to get UPS and how to spend them, as well as some things to be careful of. Actions- Lists the various game actions that you can perform and what they do. It is a guide to the number of moves required and also the chances of success. Skills- Enumerates the various skills in the game and what each does, as well as what they are required for, and their strengths and weaknesses. It also provides some recommended skill sets for new players. Weapons- Goes through each weapon that you can use in the game and gives a little bit of explanation and advice, when appropriate. Vehicles- A big section that runs through the large number of vehicles in the game, what they are good for, how to use them, and more. Take the time to learn it all eventually, but do not worry about it in the beginning. Field Marshals- Are the leaders of each team, and have certain privileges defined here. Forums- Are another part of the Itswar site and provide a place to chat and discuss the game. Tactics- Section gives you tips on game-play, so you can perhaps advance your skills further once you have learned the basics. Map- Is a major part of the game. It has many different sectors and can change from game to game depending on if we need a change. |
