freshen it up with a new look and make the page loading instant, the game play concept i dont think needs changing up (stats wise) just make the game more appealable and easy to play on the phone.

numpty are you interested in letting me copy the game make it new and fresh then working together to impliment it onto this url if its good enough?

one thing i want now and another i dont.

i would like to help develop the game and make it better.

im not interesting in running it as i dont have the time or patients.

maybe we could start a development team?

I cant code, but a development team would be good if numpty is up to it.

Same with advertising a bit more, or making peeps vote IW on other places for a small amount of ups. once a day max etc.

I can just do forum modding and play brainstorm tank person if you get what I mean.

Post Re: Looking for Volunteers,Helpers,or dedicated staff team
I'd be potentially interested in helping out with the coding of the game, stuff like round preparation stuff, IRC mod, etc. I guess maybe researching game stuff, but in my opinion, there's not that much to do there.

Primarily, I'm interested in the coding aspect. My experiences in coding have primarily been in Java, but I've done a decent amount this past year in regards to web development - html/css front-end, php/mysql back-end. (As well as managing/coding for CMS's like Drupal). This includes running a dedicated server for a group and coding a site from scratch for an online system of the game assassin (featuring players, teams, target cycling, disavowed for when no kills in a set time frame, target kill submission checking system, extensive administrative functionality to make game staff's job easier, etc.). In no way am I a master at web development, but I see Itswar as a platform for me to practice, improve, and give back to a game that I've continually enjoyed.

A little about my Itswar background, I've been playing on and off since... 01 or 02? (Was Itswar even around then?) Not sure exactly when, but around that time. I was more active when I started out, got busier and couldn't put in the time needed, came back every once in a while, and recently just started again.

Yeah...

Irc mod: are u online often?
Round preparation involves mapcoding, map polls, drawing the prettier for use, bringing up and discussing changes that are brought up, things of the sort.

programming access is the toughest for anyone to add on to, since only Numpty has such access atm. Mapcoding access also requires Numpty. If willing and dedicated, there's always room for ppl who can bring up and discuss changes and maps that are brought up in the forums. IRC mod is another easy position to start off on, but it requires being online often, and matureness/responsibility.

Another comment on programming: it may help to note any samples of ur work if u have any online?
I can't guarantee your staff position anywhere, but will discuss with staff and see what happens from there if you are still willing to lend a land with stuff.

I am fairly excited how after my posting of power struggles, people are stepping up to the plate to help revamp itswar

However, I would wish to see more of these people actively help, by providing input in forums so we can correctly assess their reliability, and productivity in the itswar staff

Playing the game is one thing, suggesting new ideas is another, and commenting, and providing input from many sides helps put it all together

Just my Image

Numpty been waiting for you to come online? There is some major security problems with the game you really need to sort the code out.... I wont say what they are on here but please contact with me so we can work on a fix.

Also need to talk about recoding / revamping things I would like to know what your expectations are.

I heard Archit may be helping? which is good you need some hands on coders I been back 3 rounds now and there are more bugs now than there has ever been the game is dropping which none of us want to see.

Well since everyone else seems to be in this boat though i would throw it out there that i can help do code.

If you want to know experince it is listed as follows:

C++ ,DirectX,OpenGL,win32 api, Ogre 3D
C# DirectX Wrappers, XNA 2.0 and 3.0, Ogre 3D
php Mysql (sql is a bit rusty but that is why i got the reference manual)
Javascript (not a hell of alot but i can do it)
HTML <-- who can't
QBasic <-- not for a long time but thought it was amusing
Action Scripting (Flex SDK still checking it out can more or less use it)

Ok well in a few days i should have my game uploaded its not going to be finished yet i just want to see how it runs on the server . The url is NinjaClash.co.cc there is just the css layout up right now but in the nearer future it will be there and then you can see what i am able to do and the list of experience is not so much a could do its have done. Simply put i have experience in all the fields listed. But since knowing is believing i will get your the example eg proof soon enough.
